I love Sushi Cho, especially their lunch special. For $6.95 I had this delicious teriyaki salmon atop veggies, rice, an egg roll and a potsticker.  It’s one of my favorite lunch restaurants.  Sushi Cho owners used to also own a Chinese restaurant near my place but they closed it a few years ago so I have to drive cross town to come here but it’s well worth the trip.

Health tip: I have to eat salmon or another fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids at least every other week.  I used to rarely eat fish but then years ago, my hair was falling out hand over fist.  I had these weird round bald spots. I did some google research and there were a few medical possibilities and one was lack of fish in the diet.  Since fish was an easy solution, I tried that first and figured if that didn’t work, I’d go see a doctor. I started eating fish and within a month, no more bald spots.  So now I make a point of eating salmon regularly.  Sardines is another good source but I’m not a big fan.  I just read walnuts were also a good source so maybe … more brownies?  Laughing, any excuse for a brownie will do.

get the InLinkz code

It’s my first time to do a blog hop so hopefully the script will work. I am trying the InLinkz free trial as it will allow images on the links. I am doing an initial 2-week run on the links in case I run into problems. In the future, it will probably run a week.

Note: 5/29/18.  I am pasting all the links in here because I’m not sure if the InLinkz link page will disappear (it was a free trial).  I am comparing InLinkz to MrLinkz.  I don’t like that the links are on a different page  — would prefer it was inline but that might be me — I might need to do an extra step that I’m missing.  Anyways both are on a different page.  What I did like is the thumbnails InLinks created for each link.  That’s a great touch.  My MrLinkz was only text links.  The Inlinkz has ads on my bloghop link page but mr. Linkz doesn’t.  If I pay monthly for Inlinkz, I probably won’t get the ads.  Will have to check that. Neither page is https; both are http which is a problem because now some browsers will say the connection is insecure just because they are typing the url into a field and it will scare people off.  The browser warning doesn’t say that someone might see the url they are typing in and that’s the insecurity — it just says insecure so people worry that their computer will get hacked.  I’ve already had one person express the worry and decide not to type in their url.

(P.S. after posting: yay! the inLinkys works.  They have ads on the link page but I guess that’s because it’s a free trial.  I am happy everything works including the thumbnail posting)

(P.S.S. after trying the “get the InLinkz code” from another site: unfortunately it says you have to have an InLinkz account to get the code.  I don’t like that.  I like it better when people can just copy the code like the way Mr. Linkys has it.  When this trial runs out in 2 weeks, I will try the Mr. Linkys way of linking next)

  1. That is extraordinary! I do love walnuts, especially in brownies and other bakery but also by the handful. The best though, black walnut fudge. I was looking for orange roughy today, I think that’s a fatty fish, but couldn’t find any. A good looking dish, especially on top of the veggies like that.

    1. Walnuts and brownies are a great combination. I’ve never had black walnut fudge — sounds tasty! Have to agree that it was a great looking dish — now that I take food pictures, I’m starting to notice color combinations in food, not just taste.

Thanks for popping by. and if you make a batch of black walnut fudge, add your post into the Tummy Tuesdays blog hop. would love to see it.

    1. You don’t eat fish as often as you should? But aren’t you on a boat? There goes one stereotype out the window — that people on boats fish and eat fish all the time, lol.

  2. I eat lots of salmon. Tonight we’re having salmon. Not as good looking as your salmon, but salmon nonetheless.

I’ll have to remember to do a foodie post next Tuesday to join this hop.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥
