Sabi Saturday, Week 15

Sabi Saturday Linkup Week 15

So the Sabi Saturday blog hop is open for the whole week where we share. Add your link up at the bottom of the post.

  • the vintage/antique items handed down or we “rescue” from garage sales and thrift stores so they don’t end up in a trash bin
  • items we’ve upcycled instead of throwing them away
  • items we’ve repaired in a transformative way to make them more beautiful or cooler than before
  • process or tutorials on how we upcycled or repaired something to make something new, more beautiful, or cooler
  • the main idea is showing how we treasure or reuse or creatively transform things that have some history to them, may be a bit worn but nevertheless are still useful/beautiful and often have character.

Love these quickies — use old clothes to make cool things for your dog or cat, a bit of old carpet for a scratcher and other fun quick crafts using things you might otherwise throwaway.

    1. I might try one. I think I have a sweater around here somewhere with a whole in it that might be perfect … problem is talking Midnight into wearing it, lol.

    1. That did look like a good one. I thought the sleeve one looked easy but both Midnight and Pinkie gave me a luck that said “Don’t you dare!”

  1. I’m going to try a few of these. I love the kitty carrier in the front of the hoodie, the portrait ball of the camera, and the bed made out of the sweater.

  2. I’d like to see my cat not scratch my face off if I attempted to put a jumper on him. He nearly took my head off when I attempted a Christmas hat, so there’s no way I’m risking life and limb with a jumper ?
Happy Saturday! I hope you have a lovely weekend xx
