Wear good walking shoes. Some of the planes are outdoors and it’s not paved. Thin-soled shoes are going to feel every rock. Heels and sandals are not a good idea. If you like space flight, planes or war memorabilia, it’s a great museum. And you can get really close to the planes for those of you who like taking photos. Each hanger has several volunteers so feel free to ask questions. Expect to spend a few hours here. Bottled water is okay but no other food or drink while you walk around the planes.

You can use the search bar to search Amazon as I did with “airplane art -stickers -paper” and choosing the “books” category. You can change the category to whatever you want. Also if you get a lot of wrong results like I did with books of stickers, you can use the minus sign in front of a word so it won’t be in your results like “-stickers” to elminate sticker books. It works pretty well.

It is a cool museum as it has mural planes, WWII planes and spacecraft and it’s huge so you get a workout too

wow! thank you for going back and looking at the older posts. I walked three hours and took over 100 photos the day I visited. Every once in a while I remember and go back to the folder and pull out something I haven’t shared. And honestly, I only saw about half the place because I ran out of steam. I want to go back again. It’s pretty cool.
