Tummy Tuesday : Mama Luisa Italian Restaurant, Tucson
Usually I go to Tucson’s Mama Louisa’s Italian Restaurant at lunch for their pasta and salad bar — they have a guy ready to cook the pasta fresh to order and my favorite thing to do is ask the guy to mix half pesto and half alfredo for the sauce. Comes out pretty yummy. Today though, I tried something different. Mama Louisa’s Italian Restaurant has an early dinner menu from 3-5pm most days (Sunday noon-5pm) so I got the Eggplant Parmesan with the Shrimp Scampi combo for $15 which included the salad bar. And being how it was my birthday, I followed it up with a tiramisu (this was last week actually). Yum!

Happy Belated Birthday, Mary!
Oooo! I love Italian!
Thank you Veronica! I love Italian too — especially their desserts!
Mary,
This is too far for me to drive for a taste of Italy. It sure does look delicious, though. Now, you got me wanting lasagna. 🙂
the really good thing about Italian food is just about every place has at least one good Italian restaurant. Ooooh, lasagna. I love that!
I was about to say, what about the diet plan, and then I see birthday, which cancels out all prohibitions! Happy Birthday!
I do love birthdays — it’s the one guilt-free day to totally spoil yourself. Thank you!
How many birthdays do you get a year? Do I owe you more presents???
lol, you can give me as many presents as you want. Who am I to say no? I believe in the freedom to give presents any time any where. laughing.
Oh what a lovely birthday meal. I love Italian food the very best.
Have a wonderful Tummy Tuesday. ♥
I love Italian food too! They invented comfort food.
Hope you’re having a great Feline Friday
The rule about birthdays: You can do what you like and that’s the only rule.
Happy birthday!
I love that rule! I now declare my birthday is everyday so I can do what I like everyday! Does a Happy Dance! Oh wait, does that mean each one, I add another number to my age. Hmmm, I don’t think I want to be Gandalf’s age. I’ll stick with once a year then and adopt the hobbit’s habit of unbirthday presents– yes, that will have to do.
