Tummy Tuesday : Bamboo View

Tummy Tuesday : Bamboo View

Yay! It’s Tummy Tuesday again. Add your link at the bottom of the post to the blog hop if you’ve got a post or pic that’s food related.

Tucson Restaurant : Bamboo View, Golf Links & Kolb

You’ll have to listen close because the voices around me are louder on my phone’s video but you can actually hear the bubbling of the sauce on the hot plate

The funny thing was the dish is called Sizzling Rice but the rice is actually served separately in a little bowl.  I ate it staright from the hot plate — it was great.  I don’t think they expected me to eat it that way as most people spoon it over the rice.  However, I’m trying not to eat carbs …. ok, I confess.  I ate some rice.  It was right there!  I love rice.  Sighs, and it took me two days to take off that bowl of rice — it added two pounds! Geez, back to no more carbs.

  1. So yummy!
I am sharing a guilt-free full meal salad; for low carb, just omit the potatoes, and I do not know about the peas and avocado … but the rest is fine 🙂

    1. Nordic diet says potatoes can go on their diet as long as you don’t fry it or drench it in rich sauces. Peas are low cal. I don’t know about avocado but I’m not looking it up. I love avocado so what I don’t know can’t hurt me — I hope, lol.

      1. Ha ha ha, YOLO! Nordic people are wise and healthy, so they must be right on this one; I could never give up potatoes, they are my favourite food stuff, along with cheese.

        1. I agree, potatoes and cheese are a great combination. Actually cheese is great with almost anything.

    1. Yeah, that’s the cool thing about Chinese food, they serve up yummy shrimp and veggie dishes (chicken and beef too! oh and pork … ok, I admit it. I just love almost any Chinese food. I even had chicken feet once in Hong Kong which was interesting although I don’t think I’ll ever have it again)

Hope you’re having a great day!
