Renaissance Cats from Second Life Kittycats
Renaissance Cats from Second Life Kittycats
I decided to go back in time and reach for the Renaissance. So what do you think?
Leonardo da Vinci almost Painted a Cat
One of the greatest renaissance artists Leonardo Da Vinci had great plans to paint Madonna and Child with a cat but the cat wasn’t cooperating. He couldn’t get past the sketching phase. I can feel the cat struggling to get away from the toddler’s grasp; What do you think?
Study for the Madonna of the Cat, Leonardo da Vinci, between 1478 and 1481 , ink and bister (a kind of brown ink made from soot) on paper, 5.1 in x 3.7 in, currently at the British Museum. Image from Wikimedia Commons.
The Kittycats image I started with and the text prompt
The Artbreeder steampunk cat image at the top evolved in Artbreeder from the phrase “Tudor cats” with this image

Thank you. It’s tough to catch them in a portrait but you seem to be doing a great job of it.
Those are great. Cats never seem to cooperate with pictures. 🙂
