Need my coffee. Just woke up and have a busy day today. I haven’t decided on a cat tree yet as I was out of town for a couple days. I’m off, have to go to the library, catch breakfast — thinking of walking to Joe’s, a local pancake place, buy some greek yogurt (love how thick and creamy it is!) and then home to blog.  I spent the last couple of days in Phoenix with a Japanese friend yesterday. We used to teach English in Japan decades ago. Akari lives in Vancouver now and her son is into ice hockey.  They flew in for a hockey tournament in Phoenix.  Phoenix has an ice hockey tournament for kids???  Seems so weird.  And the rink is so cold! You have to wear a winter coat.  I wore a leather bomber jacket that I love, snagged it at a local thrift store for $10.  It was so cool to see Akari again.  I wrote about a visit to a mountain coffee house we went to on Cactus Haiku, actually twice — once for the alphabet challenge and once for a coffee haiku: T is for Lost Trails , Coffee’s Rising Steam.

I love my Amazon search bar.  I plugged in cat leather bomber jacket to see if maybe there was one out there with a cat embossed on it.  I was suprised to find there is a leather doggie bomber jacket.
