Spinach-green frog, mini chimis and movies (Tucson)
I just thought his frog was cute. Spinach-green frog, decoration at Guadalajara Fiesta Grill restaurant.
(I associate this kind of pottery with Mexico. Love the colors!)

Guadalajara Fiesta Grill has these really yummy mini chimi appetizers. Pricey at $10.95 but Carol was buying. There were 6 so we gobbled them right up. Oops, already ate one, lol.
Right behind the restaurant is the Century Gateway Cinemark Theaters which is our local discount movies. Tuesdays is $1.75 all day for adults so splurge on these babies and then go see a movie. Comes out even on the budget, right?

Me too. I love colorful folk art.
Grandma has several such frogs, she really enjoys them. Some are planters, too.
If she’s not too far away and you post a photo of one of her frogs, let me know, I’ll pop over to see it. I think they would make great planters.
If I’m ever in Arizona…
the mini-chimis will be waiting for you!
Loved that ceramic frog!
Thank you!

Thank you for the lovely comment!
Hope you’re having a great week!
Awww, I love that frog too. What a fun day. Great Mexican food and a movie too.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
It was a great day. I love movies in a big theater — I get more immersed and into it — and if it’s the price of a video rental, so much the better.
Have a great week!
Mini Chimis sounds like a great idea.
I agree with you, mini chimis are great, like miniature comfort food.
My mother loved ceramic frogs. I may still have a few…used to put them in my flower garden.
If you post a pic of one of them, let me know. Love to see it. I think frogs are cute (although I don’t like touching them).
