N for cat ready to go ni ni

My black cat Midnight yawns, ready to go ni ni

(“ni ni” is short for “nighty night” or “night night”, slang term for “good night” in kiddy language.  Not sure if it’s just a regional thing, or American or wider afield.  I’ve heard gamers have shortened it even further to “nin”)

You can use the Amazon search bar to do any search at Amazon like I did with “ni ni”. from the movies that showed up, I’m wondering if there is a Chinese actress named Ni Ni

  1. As a child I always said ni ni when I went to bed. I still say it to hubby before we go to sleep so must be quite widespread as I am in the southwest of England.

  2. So cute! When Caitlin yawns, it’s a good sign that she is ready for bed (she’s a Rottweiler and doesn’t like other animals right now — such a phase!).

    1. I’ve been enjoying the music you’ve been sharing that you like on your blog but haven’t come across Caitlin yet. Looking forward to meeting her. My cats don’t like other animals or each other either but I don’t think it’s a phase because they’ve been like that for years.

      1. Caitlin usually features on my Instagram feed — and she’s decided to monopolise all of my “Adventures with Rottweilers” posts for the foreseeable future 🙂

    1. He sure is (ready for beddie). I hope you had a a good rest and lovely dreams. Midnight and his mom wave hello.

    1. Midnight says, “Yawns are good because they are followed by naps which my favorite hobby.”

    1. Someone in England said they used “ni ni” too so it’s a transatlantic phrase which suprised me. I agree with you, Midnight does look like a panther.
