Dao’s Tai Pan’s Restaurant

I often go to Dao’s. I love starting off with Thai ice tea and Vietnamese spring rolls. Unless I need caffeine and then it’s Vietnamese hot coffee — that coffee will wake the dead between the very strong caffeine hit and the condensed milk sugar rush.

Ninety percent of the time I get the Pho Tai which is usually pretty good. Although once I did go there and the broth was a bit weak but it only happened once. Once in a while I try something different just for fun. As you know, I have to eat salmon once in a while — it’s good for keeping the hair on my head — so I tried their salmon curry. It’s a Thai version in curry and coconut milk — a lovely tasty creamy sensation. I like my veggies cooked so that they are still crisp and not soggy and soft so these were great.  I love it when I try something new and it turns out yummy.

    1. I bet you would too! Well, maybe not. I’m not sure cats and curry mix. Yeah, maybe just save it for Dad.

    1. I put it in for you with the name Kiwinana. I hope that works for you. Now there is a little box right under that says accept use privacy policy — if that box is not clicked, the submit button doesn’t work. I think it’s Mr Linkys new policy because of the EU/GDPR thing

      1. Thanks, I did click it, actually I tried three times and it wouldn’t work. First time I’ve had any problems with Mr Linky, I used my real name “Elsie Hagley” which I always have used. maybe with the new privacy policy I need to use “kiwinana”. Have a great day.

        1. I think there are going to be a lot of little glitches because a lot of companies around the world suddenly had to make changes to fit in with the GDPR/European Union cookie thing. I find that I shouldn’t click the cookie thing on any wp site if I started on my comment because it will make my unfinished comment disappear. It’s better to click it after I send the comment or before I start typing it so I don’t lose the comment.

    1. Thank you! That’s very cool if a photograph can meak you almost smell it (just make sure the cats don’t — I’d never get a bite!)

  1. That looks mighty good. We had salmon last night. We too have it about once a week. It’s good for you.

Have a fabulous week filled with wonderful food. ♥

    1. It was good. I bet your salmon was tasty too.

HOpe you’re having a great day and eating something yummy as we speak.
